What is the Young Londoners’ Victim Service?
The Young Londoners’ Victim Service offers trauma-informed and bespoke support for all young victims and witnesses across London, under the age of 18, enabling them to cope and recover from the impact of crime.
How we can support you
The service provides young people with emotional and practical support and advocacy. The service is free and confidential to access, and the crime does not have to be reported to the police.
The pan-London service aims to ensure that young people achieve the following outcomes:
- Enhanced ability to cope and build resilience, enabling them to move forward with daily life
- Improved knowledge and a greater sense of empowerment
- Reduced risk of further victimisation and increased feelings of safety
- Improved health and well-being
- Access to the right support when needed
The service also includes an online portal which provides training resources and support for adults and youth professionals across the community, helping to build London-wide capacity and resilience.
