What is My Support Space?
My Support Space is an online resource designed by the independent charity Victim Support to help you manage the impact that crime has had on you.
You can work through a series of interactive guides which address your specific needs. The guides are designed to be completed in your own time and at your own pace. You can save your progress and revisit where you left off at any time.
There’s also information about where and how you can access further support, and the opportunity to register with SilverCloud, an online therapy system.
Who is it suitable for?
My Support Space is for people aged over 16 who have experienced crime and need help to cope and move forwards.
It’s designed for people who have been affected by crime and traumatic events and who may need help to move forward. If you feel that you have been severely affected by a crime, or if you feel unable to cope or keep yourself safe, then this online resource should only be used when you are already in touch with a Victim Support caseworker.
The content is designed to help you reflect on your feelings after crime and understand how you can support yourself during a difficult time. The interactive guides feature videos, techniques, activities and tips to help you explore each topic. You can also create an online diary to help you keep track of your progress and record what works for you.
How do I access it?
If you’re a victim of crime living in London you can register for a My Support Space account.
My Support Space is a secure online resource. It uses two-factor authentication when you log back in to ensure that you’re the only person who can access your account, even if someone knows your password.
We’ve asked people to create an account so that we can personalise the content you see when you first log in. You can access My Support Space from any computer, tablet or smartphone with internet access. Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer support for any versions of the Internet Explorer.
