Brake’s National Road Victim Service

Brake’s National Road Victim Service offers people affected by road death and serious injury emotional and practical support. The service provides support via a freephone helpline – 0808 8000 401 – which is a quality accredited, confidential support service, providing information and advocacy, emotional support and a listening ear. The Brake helpline is open every Mon-Thurs, 10am – 4pm. Brake also provides a wealth of written information and guidance, including support books for children, which are available in hard-copy from your Police Family Liaison Officer or online at www.brake.org.uk/victim-support.
