Brake’s National Road Victim Service offers people affected by road death and serious injury emotional and practical support.

The service provides support via a freephone helpline, which is a quality accredited, confidential support service, providing information and advocacy, emotional support and a listening ear. The Brake helpline is open every Mon-Fri, 10am – 4pm.

Brake also provides a wealth of written information and guidance, including support books for children, which are available in hard-copy from your Police Family Liaison Officer or online. Translations are available.
