The Gaia Centre – run by Refuge

The Gaia Centre provides the following services, all free and under one roof: one-to-one confidential, non-judgemental, independent support; a specialist independent gender-based violence advocacy team to support victims and survivors at risk of serious harm; a specialist service for 13-17 year-old girls; a sanctuary scheme to improve home safety; early intervention service for 11-17 year olds; group support; a peer support scheme to help break isolation, build social networks and support clients whilst they regain control of their lives; volunteering opportunities. Children are welcome.
